in NZ exercise is ok but keep distance of 2m. i am still working out if kiting is excluded

So... You are not permitted to use your car to drive to the beach and it is strongly suggested that you should not enter the water.
So there is no direct open statement saying it is forbidden. However as below from the water safety nz strongly suggested that you dont. If you are not within walking distance of the beach then you are screwed!

Water Safety New Zealand (WSNZ) is urging all New Zealanders to recreate responsibly during the lockdown period and stay out of the water.
While it might seem tempting to head out to sea, the rivers, lakes or head for the hills for some remote recreation, the public is reminded that New Zealand’s water safety and search and rescue services are predominantly made up of volunteers who will also be in lockdown. WSNZ supports the positions of all its’ partner agencies who are united in their messaging.
“The message is a clear one,” says WSNZ CEO Jonty Mills. “If you get into trouble you will put others at risk who will have to come out of self-isolation to help you and potentially be exposed to COVID-19.”
New Zealanders are asked to listen to the authorities and avoid high risk activity during this period that could potentially end up needing rescue or emergency services.
“The Prime Ministers advice is clear. Stay at home to save lives. We’re right behind that resolve.”

Here in Canada the ice is receding slowly. I was kiting on the ice last week the water season should start in drysuits next week maybe no ban as far as I know but parks are closed. Individual sports like cycling and walking outside does not appear to be an issue. I think that kiting alone in non threatening conditions has no impact on virus propagation. I'm planning to keep kiting but maybe it's not the time for risky moves.

In Denmark no problems kitesurfing (or any watersports), all over.

Beaches not closed, but as the water is only 7 degree celcius, no "crowds" will gather the next 3 months anyways at popular "bathing" spots.

All outside exercise "stations" are closed, all fitness centers closed, all dinner places except takeout closed, bars etc closed, many bigger stores not handling food are (voluntarily though) closed.

Not allowed to be in "crowds" of 10 people anywhere....

Everyone who CAN, is advocated to work from home (WFH - now I get what this abbreviation means...)

All are very good initiatives to avoid it explodes

But the beaches and sea is open, and a good way to get "away" without any virus risks

In Sweden we are allowed to kite as normal, but we are strongly advised to not travel within the country, so most will stay around their home area. The water at my home spot is 5 degrees at the moment and during my 19 years as a kiter, it only happened twice that someone else apart from myself was on the water with a kite. No virus there for sure... The situation in hospitals around here is still very calm. If that changes, more restrictions will most likely follow, like bans for doing high-risk sports, but we are not there yet.

I heard last week kiting is banned and the military was calling people off the water in the Dominican Republic.
Anybody confirm?

I’m very fortunate to live within walking distance of the beaches where I live in S.Wales UK, however as ptben has posted above personally I’m not prepared to take the risks in case of any incident and so putting even more pressure on the health system etc
People are advised to only go out once a day to walk, run, cycle but also because so many were abusing this most of the beaches here are closed with the police turning people away. They have also been checking where people are driving ie if it’s necessary.

Switzerland: not forbidden. Went out yesterday foiling - awesome. However, heavily debated in German forum because against the slogan *stay home".
