With the mod the kite isn't as grabby with more depower. Not as much depower as the genesis but enough for the Hydrofoil 👍. That was my first go on a mountain board 20 minutes later I was looping the kite so gone is the easily overpowered feeling it had before 😀.
UK is in lockdown but at the moment you can go outside for fitness.
The field is across the road from my house 🙋.

The main difference is the B positions on the kites. So because the B position on the A15 is nearly in the middle or 1/2 of cord, where as the Genesis is more like 1/3, the A15 needs more bar movement to change it. The Jackomixer drastically changes this on both kites, but there still remains a difference with the Genesis still needing less bar movement. There is also this effect from different kite sizes and AR, the basic principal is the difference in cord length as Jacko so well put it. The Genesis 10m cord is 2m, while the A15 12m cord is 1.78m. So the A15 has a cord advantage but obviously the difference in B positions is too much. While these following calcs are not exactly right because of the A and Z positions, but 1/3 of 2m is 0.66m and 1/2 of 1.78m is 0.89m. Obviously worse for the A15. The 9m A15 at 1.56m cord and 1/2 at 0.78m is similar to the 12m Genesis at 2.1m cord and 1/3 at 0.7m, but still advantage goes to the Genesis...

It's interesting that this bridle design of having B more in the center and for which you can only have ABZ so 3 rows is more leaning to higher AR. Me personally I am used to longer throw and lighter bar pressures and slower turning. In fact the A15 is probably a little too high bar pressure for me with the jackomixer but I should adapt. For me I could go lower AR on the A15 and it would still be fine.

I think if you are getting to like foil kites then do consider using a bar setup with more range on it, no chicken loop etc.

Good information ^^^ .
The a15 bar pressure for Hydrofoil or mountain board is more than ok IMO.
The genesis is far heavier but and slower but 100 usable. The a15 as you said has much higher performance greater piloting is required but its such a playful kite to fly.My flysurfer soul could now almost certainly be redundant 🙈.
This does depend on the light wind relaunch around 4/5 knots.
I loosened the very wingtip connection it fly's perfectly now.

Side note about the graphics of a15: I find it quite beatiful vs other brands. Even really brautiful .

One weired visual effet it is that you can mix the LE and TE when you are looping a lot like on snow. Other kites have same problem like FRS for example, also beautiful with the symetric cross but the graphics leads to possible confusion in "weired" situations like half loops after a fall, and your body shaked :o :shake:

... then you van mix right and left during 1 precious second and can crash the kite ...

Pansh does have custom colors too, so you can differentiate the sides more. I like color on one side, like Ozones or the new Aeolus.

In UL cloth, the bnue is quite never (or never ?) Available ...so no better differienciation possible. I had the opposite color for my ex a15 (main red anf a bit of white) . Cute but still this mixing problem (that may disappear with habits). What i like for example is to have a leading edge really different from Trailing edge, which is the best visual differenciation I think.

They have standard colors for standard and UL fabric, which change sometimes. You can do custom colors in either, you just have to ask. I am not even sure you have to pay extra if you are already getting UL. They used to have free custom color quite often, I am sure if they aint busy and you ask you could get it free.

I am thinking of making up a Jakomixer and trying it out on an old Flysurfer Unity 10m that i use for foiling and snowkite. I have some spare 100cm and 120cm "spare part lines" so will make up two complete mixers, allowing me to swap them out with the originals to see the difference.
Does anyone that has done this on their kite see a problem with using it on a FS Unity? its old fat and short, so i am hoping for some improvements......

It should be fine, only possible obstacle is the bridle positions are not right. No need to make another mixer, just rearranging things is far quicker.
