Sure you can post a link! Judging by the weight of commercial custom carbon bars I don't think people are using more than 2mm thickness so 3mm should be bomber. Evan Mr Infexion might care to comment as he has been very generous with information.
I use a 25*22.5mm carbon tube. So only 1.25mm wall thickness.
The center hole will always be the critical part. Everything further away doesn't add much to the strength. Although you gain some Stiffness with more wall thickness, but I doubt anyone will notice that as lines will have way more elasticity in them compared to the bar.

I cutted and sanded one side of the Antal. Glued it to the bar and epoxied a carbon roving.
I used the shiny bar with neogloves, quite nice to hold the middle part onehanded but too
slick will use a tape when out with gloves.
I don't feel anything negative with the offset of the 10mm barhole and the curvey bar .
It swimms and is very strong. Downside: You can make a nice hole into your board if hitting it with the Antal

My current work during confinement :
70 cm width but light (220gr).
Rear line trim. Flotting rope of trim pulled automatically in the bar
It costed me about 20/25 euros...

Can you show something more about the back lines bar ends? I ahve the same bar and I'm thinking how to do bar ends to wrap lines after the session.
First I tought about a little aluminium tube inserted as bar end and locked with epoxy glue, but I'm still thinkign about it.
Thank you
