It's EPS 32kg/ m3 core with layers of 200g twill carbon. 3,5kg. Too heavy, I know. It was partially the heavy boxes and pro level build would use 20kg eps and 3mm 80 kg skin foam on deck and KF box.
1400*385
The rider is young developing racer and he's still on a duotone freerace foil, has also a levitaz race foil. So therefore boxes to allow multiple foils.
This is my first race board. Depending on rider's feedback and progression to other hi performance foils will probably make another one next season.
Rider is on swedish national team on 49ers but has ambition for kite racing at Olympics 2024. Wanted to help him out.

beautiful table ... excellent outline, then the rider will give you his impressions. can already jibe and tack in foiling? did you put the steps in a block with higher density? come on, tell us how you made that color?

The rider can gybe and tack. Plus he's been seriously racing dingys since he was small, so knows how to race.
Yes, all inserts are in 80kg foam inserts.
Color is easy. After laminating, I mix epoxy and yellow pigment and mix in white glass micro balloons to " runny honey" consistency and brush it on. Then sand it down with surfboard pad 80grit. Light color against dark carbon it's easy to see when it's smooth and not sand through. Then a clear flow coat and wetsanding to 800grit.
You can ask to join my FB group TW Surfboards and see my work. Just a hobby.

I don't like using 2 component polyurethane paint. It has huge amounts of VoC and super dangerous for your health.
