What drives people who believe they want to save the environment into destroying it?

Sorry BBC, CO2 didn't fall during shutdown and is rather interesting.

Why would CO2 concentration at Mauna Loa fall significantly during shutdown and what does the BBC have to do with that ? Is there significant industrial activity in Mauna Loa ? What about Shanghai, new Delhi etc ?

No, it is away from anomalies, this is why it is a good place to measure CO2 concentration in the atmosphere after it disperses evenly. If we don't get a blip in that graph it means our contribution is dwarfed by ocean outgassing. I say keep the lockdown going for another month so we can put that AGW theory to rest.

Once again, mm fails to understand the difference between trend and variation.
