Yes. I have 7,9,12 Orbit and 6,8,10,12 Bandit 2019.
Compared to Bandit the Orbit is more stable in higher wind, jumping and especially hangtime is much better.
Lowend needs to be tested.
Is that 2020 bandits?
Trying to decide between orbit and xr6

Which is more fun during a session? I only have experience in bandits up to 2018 bandit 11. Loved them and learnt so much on them. Real fun kite but lacked hangtime. Is the orbit as much fun as a bandit with same quick turning speed and more hangtime as that’s ideally what I am looking for I guess.

For me the Orbit is more fun to ride in case of Big Air, Hangtime, Kiteloops. Turning speed is nearly the same.
Orbit is a bit more heavier, so a 12m Orbit feels a bit heavier in lightwinds around 10 knots vs Bandit.
I am really happy with the Orbit. Today 12m Orbit gusty Session 10-20 knots. That kite is so much fun with no lateral pull and massive Hangtime. And you can loop the 12m too especially heli loops that generate additional Hangtime. Love it.

The 2020 pivot is way better than the orbit.
In low end as well as top.
I have a 2020 12m pivot and 12m orbit.
The pivot smashes it for light wind as well as direct feel.
The orbit does boost well but needs way more bar input than the pivot.
To me why try harder on the orbit when pivot does it all so easier.
About the same hang for both kites.
Orbit is better boosting in gutsy conditions that's my take only because of 5 struts.
I give North 3 yrs then no more as mystic own North they would be losing money.
Shops don't want them.
Margins are nothing compared to other brands.
As every person is an agent for North not a distributor mystic micromanage all orders etc.
Wrong way to sell kites imo.

Better low end and better high end. Interesting
I rode the 2019 Bandit vs the 2019 Pivot and found the Bandit way better than the Pivot. Pivot has much more lateral pull for example what I don’t like for riding in overpowered conditions if you are not 90 kilos plus.
Have fun with your Pivots. All is good stuff.

agree 100% with saltyman. I think the orbit will be good eventually this is only their first year. Give it another year or two if they can stay in business

Soooooo, I guess 2019 Bandit is better than 2019 Orbit!
