This inspires me to get my 6mt pulse 2 out of the attic and give it a go again...all I remember is that the kite was one of the easiest to relaunch .....almost has an autorelaunch
Love my Pulse 2, I use a 6 for foiling with Moses 633, super easy to launch, relaunch and land, stable, turns nice, quite good drift but less depower than my Soul or Hyperlink.
I actually use it more than my hyperlink5, i like the slow- stable "Retro" feeling…
Also a perfect 5 line kite for my kids to learn with safely.
Bought a used one, the best value for money i ever had in a kite...

Had a Viron 6m.. sold before I started foiling..
anyone tried Viron's for foiling?
I think Regis did.. I did not find it encouraging on this video as the kite is trainer designed for no pull.. I find Peak4 more suitable for foiling than Viron.

+1 please update me/us after the session that was it still nice or had time just glorified the memories..
I rode Pulse2 8m. Nice kite. Rides well, Jumps some. It’s the kite that taught me that foil kites collapse in lulls and then pop like a brake chute sending you over beach and concrete path tearing your floatation vest, wetsuit and elbow skin.
Typical foil kite. Works well. Looks pretty in the sky.
The Pulse2 6m arrived today and it was perfect timing as there was a storm today and the wind was quickly ramping up to over 30kn. So I unpacked the kite, took off the 5th line bridle and line and removed the old bar/lines. Took it to the beach and put on my race bar with 17m lines and popped her up, and it works great! Wind was between 22kn and at one point it hit 33kn on the graphs and probably more for a short while. The kite was perfect, I can't fault it. At one point I even crashed a tack and made the kite crash and it pretty much relaunched itself whilst I was getting my foil board. Very impressive little kite and an incredibly good buy, I'll definitely be using this kite in future in strong winds. It also went upwind really well and drifts really well too, for an older mid aspect kite.
I had a Pulse 2 that I’m sure I gave (or sold very cheaply) to a guy called George in Perth. I think he bought a Unity from me and I gave him the Pulse 2 as well. I forget. It flew ok - not dangerously, but it was pretty basic compared to today’s equipment. Quite limited wind range maybe. Enjoy the retro experience ! See if you can back to back fly it with a Soul 8 and see how development has improved kites over the years.
