Moses 483 stab, can a trim benefit?

Postby Wazza Foil » Tue May 05, 2020 9:06 am

I have 2 Moses 483 stabaliser, 1 for kiting and 1 for SUP foiling and Windwing foiling.
I have read that some have trimed the tips of the 483 for safety however wondering if other benefits are possible?

if you trim enough, then not only are they safer but also when you rest the whole board on its side on hard ground then the stab is just clear of the hard rough surface. :thumb:
its a fact that the very end of the stab tip just scrapes and chips its tip on the ground with the 633 wing.

no loss in performance that I can detect either.
