It seems to me that this bar will after sometime keep opening this compartment for lines during the session. Like supper annoying things shaking in the bar...

I don’t know it seems odd to me to have a moving part like that where the gravity helps to open...

Don't worry, I saw they provide an allen key. You know, to keep things simple and gimmick free.

I can't help but think that the Core bar takes very simple things that every other premium bar does, and complicates the hell out of it just to be different.

Yes it looks beautifully made but:

- front/back coloring instead of left right? Front/back is irrelevant. I need to know I am grabbing the bar with the correct hand to do an emergency turn. Right hand to black, left hand to not black (red/yellow/orange/white).

- tricky safety pulling through rings and keeping partial tension on the opposite line. It is possible in very strong winds that a kite can end up in a hover at the edge of the window. The only way to stop it is to pull in more safety line. What's wrong with a straight pull safety line?

- it doesn't mention adjustment knots inside the floats. You'd have to assume they're up there.

- 4:1 trimmer. Yes it makes pulling the trimmer easier. It robs you of half your trim travel. I have never ever had trouble pulling a trimmer. I have made my own bars with huge trim travel. I'll take more trim thanks.

- fold out line winders. I can't count how many times I have wished those end bits on my bars were not there. I can't count them because it's never happened.

- auto-untwisting lines? Yep. That's good. Two separate coated lines passing through the bar? Nah.

- changeable bar length. Good. The same as every other brand. I did it once.

We all want to hate this bar because it's expensive as hell but I'm sorry to say that it's fucking sexy. I don't own any Core kites either, FYI.

Yes will they do an upgradable release?
I think core also keep the high y simply to make extra bar sales when most brands done away with that.

Almost time for them to release a dual line bar with fixed loop. Maybe couple of years from now
