Jackomixer has transformed the kites.
The 12m genesis at 64kg I've used in one session from 7 picking up to 22 knots 0 depower on a 1500 gong surf wing learning to tack onto toeside I was so comfortable 😍.

Well i found out how to make the wind blow 25 ,for a week, in Las Vegas :
buy a light wind kite !

Finally got to use the A-15,15m, last night in the park ; flew it
stock in 3 to 5 mph, on 27m lines, and on the bar off my Ozone 13m Edge.

I can't do up-loops on a PL Venom, in that light of wind, but this kite
never complained , and pulled like a truck while doing it ; maybe because
it is made with the ultra-light fabric ?

Only real complaint i got, is that i'd make a 2 : 1 pulley bar to
give it a longer sheeting ability ; the guy who sold it to me, he
gave me one , but i really wanted to try it stock first.

Tomorrow i head to lake Mead with it , in full stock mode ; no Mods
till i try it out in the water first.

So far, i'm quite Happy with my purchase ; gonna Paypal the seller
enough money to buy a 15-pk of good beer !! :thumb:

It's from he-who-must-not-be-named (a clever chap for sure), in one of his many guises.

How does the mod get double depower?
The standard bridle has four rows, A, B, C, Z ( Z at the trailing edge). Moving the bar away 4 cm causes Z to move 4 units, C 2 units and B 1 units. After the mod, moving the bar away 4 units moves C 4 units and B 2 units so that roughly speaking the angle of attack of the kite essentially changes twice as quickly
So the same amount of depower but over a shorter bar movement.

Trust me I've done all the testing without the jackomixer the kite will not have enough depower and turn very slowly.

Also you might need to extend the very wingtip connection by 6cm👍

I do trust Ya ; just wanted to know how the mods affected the kite,

I got Skunked today ; so im gonna do that Jack-O-Mod now, and head
back to the park tonight.

Thanks tor the wing-tip suggestion ; i'll fly it first with the Jack-O Mod
then to the tip mod tomorrow.

OK --- I'm a fly by the numbers sorta guy ; don't got that natural FEEL
you guys do , so i gotta know the , "Why" for everything , i do.

I have never tried A15 with jackpmixer mod. I used it stock and with 2:1 pulley bar as it was suggested on this forum. It provided longer bar sheeting ability and faster turning. Although you have to get used to kite "loose" behaviour when you fly with pulley bar. If Jackomixer does the same thing I would definitely give it a try. Once you extend sheeting of this kite it is a very good piece of equipment IMHO. Thanks Bille hope you like it! Please report your findings. Kristof
