Faklord, very nice and really satisfying video to watch!
Do you think your device would work with a single depower line, 5 or 6mm and attached with a larks head to the ring?

Ok. It was a bit tight with 5mm dyneema and more so with 6mm.
One option would be to use 3 or 4mm line and run the splice tail up the full length of the line. This should increase the strength & wear life substantially.

Anyhow, I’ve revamped the model to give more clearances and it is now fine with 6mm line. (It is also a simpler model, which is good).

This shows the fitting of a 6mm line. It needs a spliced loop of more than 5cm to make this possible.

I think some sort of soft pad/ball above the block would be a good idea to prevent bar impact from breaking the block, unless the block can be printed with something compliant like PU.

When you get the rope to the below position, can't you simply roll the rope loop over the ring to make the larks head then just pull the rope through the block? You'd only need a loop large enough to go over the ring and there'd be no need to use the thin cord.

I think some sort of soft pad/ball above the block would be a good idea to prevent bar impact from breaking the block, unless the block can be printed with something compliant like PU.

I'll also put a drilled through 22mm rope stopper between the block and the bar as detailed earlier.

It's easy to tweak design but if you haven't used this type of CAD it may take a while to get your head around it. I just picked it up to play with, as something to do when the Covid lockdown started....So I'm no expert! For Info I'm using Fusion 360 which is currently free for personal use.
The D ring is one that's supplied by Infexion. Not sure of its formal size but I measured it to be this:

I can't see any reason why a round ring couldn't be used instead (eg 15id x 3).

If there are some specific changes that you, or others, want (and you don't want to have a go yourself) let me know. I should be able to make updated models, as long as I don't get inundated with requests.
As I previously said, I don't really want to get into the making/selling parts and all the hassle of when things go wrong or break. That's Infexion's job. I also suspect their printers produce more robust parts than my DIY machine.

Why not get in touch with Evan and see if he has plans to manufacture this type of thing.

This one:
1) 25 x 4 mm main ring
2) 15 x 3mm round 'flag out line guide ring' (rather than the D ring). My guess is the dimensions of these, from different sources, will be more consistent than for the D rings.
3) The 15 x 3mm ring sits on top of the main ring rather than alongside. This gives more clearance to thread a large (6mm) power line through.
4) The main ring protrudes a bit more from the block to lessen the chance of a reset being blocked by a bit of line between the seatbelt release and ring block (eg the short line that goes to the safety release)
5) Its slightly taller(only a couple of mm), just to put a bit more meat on the bit above the 'flag out line guide ring' (it previously looks a bit flimsy)
6) Power lines from 3mm to 6mm seem to fit in fine.

I think we might be there.....

25mm X 4mm and 15mm X 3mm 316 round rings are readily available.

Spliced 4mm rope is ~5.7mm diameter, spliced 5mm is ~7mm diameter, and spliced 6mm is ~8.5mm diameter (calculated) ...

Made my own version from scratch, although it looks quite similar:



My adjustmenst after a few iterations:
-more reliable to print in PETG
-lighter, more compact
-better grip
-tight fit for the rings to make an even better connection
-open front to ease the installation of the rope
