Good riddance. Such a misogynistic company!
Its true. When my gf was just starting she struggled a bit. I thought it was because her tits were too big but it turned out the problem was the liquid force aura board, designed and marketed by people who hate women and want them to fail

Liquid Force had good support when that Gary Siskar was there. But their quality wasn't what I expected. I went through three boards. Started with the Joystick that had delaminated on the bottom. The glass coat came off and I received a warranty replacemenet.

First warranty replacement was a different board since they no longer had the Joysticks with the closed foam. It bucked on a second session. After taking the pads off I found that the factory that made them literally just drilled holes in random spots looking for the insers. WTF?! But that's not it! Whoever at the factory was doing the work slapped some yellow glue but didn't even bother to cover the holes completely!

Received a third replacement, before even getting it wet I noticed it had the exact same yellow glue on the board edges. Lifted the pads up and lo and behold, SAME THING! BLIND DRILLING!

So LF hooked me up with a 50%+ discount on the Fun Foil and board. I fixed up two of the boards and they're still rideable.

I'm sad to see them go. They made so much gear and usually sold previous year stuff on sale which was great. I picked up a brand new WOW v3 pretty damn cheap. Not my favorite wave kite but it's not bad and if I trash it I wont be shedding a $ tears.

Here are some shots of the two different boards. Crazy

LOL - Sounds legit.

I should remember to call you next time I'm having trouble in my R&D lab.

On a serious note then: it is terrible to hear about LFK. I thought there industry was growing enabling all companies to sustain business. There are even constantly new companies entering that don't have any brand or distribution. How can they make it?

And the thought that even Slingshot would pull out. I thought they where Top-3 in the industry and solid.

Do we have figures on total industry turnover the past years? And market shares?

Did this conversation take a left somewhere? Just their kites and bars will be discontinued. You guys know they're still selling boards, including hydrofoils.
Sounds correct.
"foils for all water sports"
And just bought a foil company so looks like they are in it!

i've used their V2 bars for many years, several different bars. good bars for a very reasonable price (~$250). went to buy another one this year as i like to replace BEFORE something breaks and only could find a V3 bar, at over twice the cost ($550). uhhh, no thx. but i learned on LF foils and boards, and they did me well and have passed them on to others and still going strong. good luck to LF in future endeavors.
