I am a fan of the Dakine compression bags, although they shouldn’t call them compression, better to say light weight. I often carry three kites in three bags over my head and around my neck/shoulder to the launch. I have used the vacuum bags for travel but never again, they are to hard on kites. Btw two straps would be an improvement.

Thanks for the suggestions, a couple of decent options.

Why do these kite companies not have more picture of their products online or online purchasing?

I guess most people out there just use their kite bags?

PKS Distribution makes a kite compression bag that looks pretty good, but only one shoulder strap.

The Mystic compression bags have been doing the trick for me.
2 comfortable shoulder straps and the bags are much lighter and less bulky than the factory kite bags.
There's an internal horizontal pocket at the top of the bag as well as an external vertical pocket for a bar on the side of the bags.

Not a compression bag, but one of the lightest weight kite backpacks I've run into. While searching for a photo to share, I run into a closeout in Canada - a total bargin at 19,99CAD, the 10 and 7m bags available only.

For the record, the 13m backpack weighs a bit over 500 grams and fits easily nicely folded 13m and 10m kites. + bar pocket, XL pump straps and an internal zipped pocket.

Oh, interesting. I’d seen it before but you couldn’t tell from the photos that it was a backpack.

Is there a strap to hang a pump from?

Yeah I have these, they are great bags. I use these for travel, way lighter than the factory bags. They are pretty tough too. I like keeping my kites in a bag. When overloading rental vans/trucks, boards out of bags can slice kites with the fins when getting thrown around.
I still use a couple of old Switch kite bags for knockin around in the truck at home. A little more protection and pockets for junk.

Looks like Slingshot has a similar bag - https://www.slingshotsports.com/Universal-Kite-Bag

My favorite bag is the Ozone snowkite bag - https://ozonekites.com/products/access ... ntain-bag/

The compression straps on each side of the bag could be used to attach a pump, but you have to slide up the pump head first through the straps otherwise the pump leg stands won't fit through.

Here are a few pictures with tall 3.0T WMFG pump for reference.

Would you be able to fit a 12 and a 9m LEI in that Ozone bag?

I guess so?
