I can't decide between 11m and 13m.

Can someone give me advice and share experience regarding low/highend.

I already have 4,5,8. I weight 78kg and have 800cm and 1200cm wing.

I wonder if you need bigger than 8m. I still have to try my low wind possibilities with the 4 and 5m. But I admit that I am a bit shy to try the 5m on very low wind but I am very curious. I think that skill and knowledge with this kites can do much. I weigh 83kg and have the 633 Moses wing

The light wind threshold with a small kite like the 5 is very binary. Long lines and trimming out backstall are pretty important. A bigger higher aspect wing would help, but it’s still very much go or no. My water start technique is pretty good, and it makes about a half knot difference. In steady 10 knots it’s a pretty easy go. In 9 it’s no. 9.5 is iffy.

I had some sessions with the 8m on 21 m lines. But the low-end is definitely not as good as I hoped for.
Yesterday wind was 7-12 and 8m was in sweet spot, but then dropped to 5-9 and it was game over for me.
My friend was on its 12 tube and had the roughly the same water time then myself.

Maybe I sell the 8 and go for the 11. But that's a huge gap in the quiver.

Today would have been a perfect day to test a bigger peak, 6- 10 kn and I really want to be able to go out in those quiet and peaceful conditions, to do some meditation on my foil and cruise around

For me, being average weight, I would love a size between the 5 and the 8 m2, as my "big" but still awesome wavefoilkite

As said, a 6.5 m2 (or whatever the precise sizes are)

Find the gap from 5 to 8 extremely big, somehow when needing the 8 if the 5 is too small, I feel overpowered almost, and really slow turning.

Running std 21 m lines does not work for me with the 8, use 27 m lines now.

I use it a lot, when wind below 12 knots, but it got nothing to do with the magic from the 3 and 4 and 5 m2.

The reason I use it often, is because it is SO much faster to rig and fly, and pack down, besides it never drops no matter how much the wind drops - easy

I can ride in a tad less wind with a strutless 12 m2 tube though...

I foil at a spot with very nasty start/landing place, big trees with a lot of slipstream. With every other kite this is a nightmare, but with peak...easy peasy.
That's one reason why I want to reamin faithful with bigger sizes, despites its drawbacks. The pros outweigh the cons.
I'm also handicapped to my 21m line length due to the obstacles and I'm no friend of long lines.

In my opinion the gap between 5m and 8m is ok, but I don't have as much flying hours to fully comprehend.

I guess I have to try the 11m, no other way around.

I like the idea of a large (not so expensive) single skin, light (that doesn’t fall) small and easy to rig for these “meditation sessions” (that I now have to try)

i am 100kg. Had the 11m and sold to a skinnier friend who has a 4, 5,and 8. His words were that the 11 was not as fun as the 8 but allowed him to ride when he could not go on the 8m. If you were bigger i would say the 13. But i will say this, the 13m is no slower turning than the 11m and I have heard a couple of other people on here say the same thing.

I loved my 11m and love my 13. They are very niche kites for me. When it is under 10 at my size, I use them to get started. I have learned to send them the other way while i am going the other way to let them pull me around. I also find kiteloops keep the tension and power better for me in low winds.
