I thought it was xps and was asking about its maker/brand. Did you add microballoons in pigmented layer? Thanks in advance for explanation.

No sanding or polishing at all.
That's a pretty major point! Super cool you get both nice clean deck texture and great looking overall finish without loads of finishing work!

The sanding coat is sanded with orbital sander, the final gloss is not sanded. The deck is lightly sanded before texture.

Oh. The Surfboard blank comes from ocean Magic in UK. This time I didn't add microballons to the sanding coat. It worked better, the microballons tend to get air bubbles and doesn't flow out even. The straight pigmented epoxy flows and any pinholes are clearly evident.

I tested the board yesterday. Felt like a huge board to me. My friend who is just learning to fly back n forth thought it felt small compared to his old foil fish.
My feeling was the front hook was too far back, I'll probably have to move it. Or he'll just take it off.

Hi Tom! I very much like the in-between size and just the overall look of it. Would you be willing to share more dimensions beyond the length? How thick is it in the back/front? How wide? What's the distance from back of the board to the back of the mastplate?

Beautiful work, as always!

475mm wide. About 30mm thick at tail. 10mm right at nose. Rear foil screws are 120mm from tail.
