Lift 200 for kiting

The one piece classic wings are pretty thin profiles. The two piece surf wings are a bit thicker, but not THIC! They also have a bit more anhedral. I would say just from pics and video, the lift surf series are thinner profile than the Neil Pride surf wings but thicker than the MFC wings.

For my weight of 87kgs and preferred style (waves with kite) I think the 170 classic would be a good choice. Does any Lift riders know where I can get my hands on the product in Australia?

Thanks Jumptheshark. Just trying to determine if the tax and shipping costs are viable to the east coast of Oz.
Have never ridden a Lift foil but the shape looks efficient and well designed.
A mate has the 150 and swears by it.

I use a 200 for kiting all the time and love it. I haven't used my 130 for a while now. Personal taste I guess.

I'm still stoked with the 170 Classic wing. It has been great on all boards, I'm now using it on a small pocket board. However, I'm curious about the Surf series wings and different tail sizes for kitesurfing. If you have any experience with the Surf series wings and different size stabilizers, please post a review with the size combos that are working.

I ended up getting the 170 Classic as well based on feedback in this forum. So happy with it and ride it on a 100cm pocket board. It’s got brilliant low end lift and doesn’t seem to sacrifice much at the top end considering the wing area. Only draw back for me is the turning radius. I wish at times for it to turn tighter. I only ride in wind swell as opposed to open beach waves. I can see it’s probably best suited to pure wave riding. I think if the tail wing was smaller this may help. I’d consider a 150 surf with a smaller tail size in future. Also interested in a review of this model. Cheers

I use my Lift 200 exclusively with a 32" mast. Though I have modified the foil to accept the late model surf fins. I use the Lift 34 stabilizer fin with the 200 which makes the foil very lively and can be pumped to generate more lift and/or speed. I had the original stab fin modded to use again but have yet to re-installed it.

I ride with a single foot hook forward on a Goitt board (skim shape), no jumping. I would say I am intermediate in skill. My style is just fluid carving and riding the smallest kite possible. There is nothing better than hooking into the power of the windswell or waves while the kite hangs waiting....

For reference I'm 85 kg. and ride North Mono's.
