Small knot in the bridle is the fix 90% of the time.

did you check the pulleys? If one gets stuck the kite can do all those weird things, up to a kite loop..
The pulleys on the soul need a lot of attention... or you'll end up with a long swim...
Strange, I’ve never have had to replace a pulley on any of my Flysurfers ever, and that includes the 4 Souls I’ve own.

If you eventually can’t track the issue down, you can try messing with the PMAs. I don’t have much experience with them but you can try adjusting one at a time to see if it improves the issue.

On my flysurfer sonic 2's, when ever one was pulling to one side, I'd tighten C on the opposite side bridle. Always worked. Usually just 1 cm or so.

that one is badly scored , the ones i've had normally tend to take one side out more than the other and if you not careful and keep an eye on then ya yellow lines can get down the side and then you'll need them too-this happened to my spd2 10metre delux , a really quick kite that ended up in a heap on the beach as one side, the yellow line broke but uk flysurfer don't stock the pullies -so where do ya get them? , i want to get a few spare pullies so i can keep on it -i quite like doing the whole mixer test thing anyway -i really noticed how important it was with my spd2 12metre when i noticed how smoother and nicer it flew when i did it the first time, but i prefere to do it in our spare room rather than the beach -i have a snap shackle on a cuboard handle and rest a heavy weight against the door attach the the front and back main line loops to it and it works really well and you can have coffee and music and anything else you like :D

I fully agree. If you can' t or don't want to measure all briddle, just release a bit the C on the mixer test on the inner side of its damn turn to give more camber : whatever the root cause, it should compensate.

Attach your main line connectors to a fixed point, then check every bridle line with its opposite side by pulling a small amount of tension into the pairs of bridle, so a1 a2 a3 etc across all rows, compare left to right
Check your A main and Z mains aswell
See attached photos. you’ll quickly find the issue

I once had a very small know in a Z bridle near the tip, couldn’t see it in flight but it kept causing problems when I jumped and pulled the bar in

I had exactly the same problem, the pulley material was consumed from one side and only half remained. After a jump, the line got into the space that was formed and was stuck and bitten. Change the pulley and line, and end of story

I had the Pulleys fail on my 12m Soul but only after 18months of use.

Has anyone thought about fitting an alternative to the standard pulley .
I like the look of the 18mm Harken Carbo air block and even thought about the Ronstan Shock Block but I couldn’t find any reviews on the Ronstan
