Hopefully someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I have just finished tuning a Sonic 2 using the long mixer test. Once you tune using the long mixer test, the short mixer test is irrelevant as the mixer is now adjusted to take into account of bridle shrinkage.
There is no long mixer test on the Sonic 2 unless it’s been modified somehow.
You can long mixer test any kite if you have a line plan.

Yes like I said with some modifications. Get the line plans out, mark the appropriate bridles. Usually the problems with the Sonic2 have to do with Z shrinkage. Also that wing likes B and C a little shorter for stability.

Hey I'm trying to sort out my Soul 15m that had like 20-30 sessions on it.
I did long mixer test and on right side bridal I got everything sorted but I'm having problem with left bridal as I have run off adjustability for C bridal.
Can you have a look at pics and comment? I'm jumping much more while riding to left hence could lines be more affected? Or maybe there is something wrong with original length of my mixer?

I have moved A to Z so they are similar position for markers

Adjusted A to B

Adjusted A to C

Picture of my mixer as you can see there is no room for C line to be extended

and last picture is mixer for right side, as you can see there is adjustability for both B & C

What does a short mixer test show on the left side?

If it's OK then your problem is above (bridles).
If not compare the length (left to right) of the spare part lines and the lines up to long mixer test.

You can add a knot in the spare part line on the bridles you want shorter, put the knot near the end and it won’t cause any dramas. It will make the short mixer test irrelevant but the long mixer test is more accurate anyway.

Short mixer test is giving similar results as long mixer test which would suggest that mixer lines got overextended?

You have one good side, compare the "bad" side with the good and you will find out. Just put the mixer lines next to each other.
