My take is it changes the shape of the kite, perhaps spilling a little more wind, rather than just the overall AOA?

new kite colors and no improvements
Short of a new canopy material (Aluula, cuben fiber, something we haven't seen yet, etc.)I'm not sure there is really anything to improve on other than price. (and the bag....still too small, no pockets and cheaply made imo.)
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I applaud Naish for not messing with the design, realizing the change sucks then changing it back the following year.
There's for sure small incremental improvements though. The inflate system is very nice. I was vocal about them ditching the Octopus, but this is probably the nicest one pump system I've seen so far.
I'm anxious to try the "overpowered/storm" bridle setting. That could prove useful for our very up/down conditions.
My new Pivots landed today. They are quite nice...

*No endorsements from Naish or otherwise....but I am willing if you're reading this Robby.
Be a good friend and measure the lenght of the bridle and extensions

Well done xanpet!
Nothing like a fresh new kite to motivate.
Would appreciate a review of your new 7m Slash if you can spare the time.
Cheers.

When someone gets your pivot can you measure the bridle? I’m curious if it’s changed from previous years. Would be nice to buy the new bridle and put it on my 2017 pivots to give them the additional range

I recieved my new pivot 12m LE yesterday. I noticed Naish now recommends 6 t0 8 PSI....I wonder if they were having warranty issues with the 11psi from the past few years...
I am still going to pump mine up to at least 9 psi....I do believe you notice the diffence in flight quality..

Interesting, is that written on the LE or you did read it in the booklet that's coming w/ the kite?
