Kite accident in Taiwan before typhoon Masak

Typhoon Masak is still more than 1000km from Taiwan, but it already has enough power to throw a kid way up in the air at a kite festival. Luckily the kid wasn't injured.

I could be wrong but I question if that was a real child. I think it was some sort of large doll for a number of reasons. It appears to have been attached to the child's neck - I can't imagine someone doing that to a child. If it was a child I would expect it would be flailing its arms and legs - the movements seemed to be more rag doll like. Finally it seems the child was lifted not so much by the kite, but by the streamer behind the kite. I doubt the streamer would be able to create enough lift to loft a real child unless winds were really strong. Just looking at the other kites and the people gathered around, the winds did not seem super strong. On the other hand a doll replica of a child would likely be much lighter and thus easier to loft.

Edit: Yikes, I guess it really was a little girl that was lofted in that video! The good news is that news reports are claiming she was not injured which is amazing given the air time she had. Too bad she did not have a Woo tracker.
