is real . I just got over a a very Nasty case of corona , that nearly took
me out, (and i was quite careful to not get it, before-hand) .

If the immunity thing , really is real ; i shouldn't get it again ?

Where does it state that people will become immune once they have had covid? To my mind, it's very low % who become immune, hence mass infection/immunity won't be a solution?!?

It is a coronavirus. genetic drift and mutations will inevitably make it more common and more innocuous over time, especially in Brazil, where the infection rate is higher.
Weakening of the virus AND herd immunity will end the virus panic.
Except for some individuals who have a panic disorder.
And politicians - they will probably never get better.
The virus may stick around but the hype and (increasingly rare) fatalities will fade.

You should be able to look at the bright side. In Brazil deaths by cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, dementia, tuberculosis, auto-immune diseases etc have decreased significantly this year, specially in the states where governors are opposed to the president.

Wow Bille, I remember you stating earlier that you considered yourself to be in the high risk group. That must have been quite scary. In any case, it seems reasonable to suppose that even if you get it again, the symptoms should be less if there at all. I'd be interested to know what symptoms remain after a month or two.

I think this whole thing is going to be like normal flu, in the sense that people in the developed world will be expected to get regular vaccinations for it just like for flue. Some people will still get it. Some will die. And there will be some more permanent changes, like more people working from home. But the hype will disappear, in fact is doing so already. BUT I'm saying that without any medical background and as one of the lucky ones, I don't even know of anybody that has caught it. And that will influence my opinion/feelings about it.
