Right now, the conditions look promising for the coming Sunday, September 13th with a first possible early morning. The forecast for Sunday says 25-28 knots and up to 42 knots in the gusts with a wind from the south-west. Since Cold Hawaii Big Air is mobile, we don't know the venue yet. It will will be run at one of the spots close to Vorupør or Hanstholm along the coastline of Cold Hawaii. There's only 25 kilometres between the two cities. The organizers will call for yellow light 48 hours before the first possible start and call green light 24 hours before the first possible start and the next update will be published at latest when the yellow light is called.

I think the problem is to get people to do it. Needs a lot off people to get it going on.

Judges and points

Head judge Alex Vliege (Netherlands)
Int. judges Chris Bull (UK), Javier Santangelo (Spain), Vita Adamicek (Czech Republic), Tom Schouten (Netherlands)

Judges will look at the following categories: Extreme Big Air and Overall Impression. The Overall Impression of the Extreme Big Air performance scores will be determined by combining:
70% Height Go as hard and high as possible. The height in combination with extreme moves is priority, but we will also take the horizontal distance travelled in account, combined with certain powered moves
30% Extremity Controlled extreme high moves. Think about extremely powered and/or extremely technical, or ultimately a combination of this as long as it is performed on a proper height.

No limitation in maximum number of moves/combinations attempts per heat (including crashes) or repetitions for the same jump. Only the three best tricks of the whole performance will be counted and will form part of the final result.
Variety within your best 3 moves is a key-factor, as focus is to prize the most complete “Extreme Big Air” rider.
A 4th score (unique score) for overall impression of the entire performance will be given at the end of the heat, this score will be determined by considering a combination of different factors as: technical difficulty / style / variety / execution / risk / show / innovation, this will be added to the total score (could make the difference)

The average of these 4 scores that weigh evenly will be the final score.

Clement Huot is French, not Dutch! ;)

Still, crazy amount of Dutchies and pretty sick one of 'em is only 14.

Has a start time already been announced?
