800 has way better lowend and more balanced at top end. On 590 I felt a need to change front foot pressure depending on speed - pushing front foot more forward flying fast and needing to move it back slowing down for jibes.

I have now ridden the W800 myself and I like it a lot, should just get better with experience. Running it with 420 stab which gives very little front foot pressure and lift - almost too little, not easy to gybe for me ( I am 100kg)
Much harder than 633 or 683 I find, but was running small surf kite, foil kite would be different.
Sanded trailing edge but still whistles some. Was unbearable before sanding trailing edge, now much better but not quiet yet.
This wing feels very balanced and pumps really well and def more sporty than the 683. Accelerates quickly

Bit worried about the slender tips and the sharp edges and the width. This wing isn't as tough as my others and sharper.

Grigori, how much diff is there between the S420 and the S425 ? These things are not cheap, is the difference significant ?
Wonder if I should shim the 420 for a bit more lift? Anyone tried that ?

I like 425 a bit better as it’s a bigger stabilizer but 420 rides very similarly. Mine 425 is shimmed down because of fixed mast position in the board. It gets me on the wing and flying easier and earlier, and fixes lack of front foot pressure I’d have otherwise, yet I believe it could have been fixed by moving mast forward if I could.

As you described lack of front foot pressure I’d give a try shimming stabilizer down a bit and/or moving the mast forward.

Whistling on my wing stopped when I lightly sanded off a little “pinch kicker” on the upper trailing edge.

Thanks, problem with moving the mast fwd is that the foil becomes more loose I find (plus I am already at the max for my board), and this foil is already a step up for me.
Will try to shim stab a bit to avoid spending more money :-)
Using 450 would be the other option, but defeats prob. the purpose of a high aspect, fast front wing :)

I find that I do not like the 450 with 633 and 683, while the tracking becomes much better and everything feels more stable, the front foot pressure is just too much, even with mast all the way back on my board - 483 feels better in that regard.
Not sure if surf stabs actually fit on the 647, haven't tried yet.

With all the emphasis on W800 it seems the W1000 does not have a place in kite foiling?
As my previous comment I had issues controlling the W1000 but thought there maybe a better stabiliser than the 420 in this combination.
No issues with the W1000 x 420 for Windwing.

1000 is just too big for my weight and wingspan is ridiculously large. I’d gladly demo one though
