Stiffest wing to fuselage connection type

What I really want to know is whether the "basic" wing-to-fuselage connection of Moses (assuming all bolts are tightened correctly) is significantly more flexible than other options? Or is the difference negligible?

I've always wanted to try an 1100 but that connection has put me off. You don't need to have a degree in composite engineering to see that the fuse to wing connection doesn't have enough surface area. Seems to hold up fine for most lighter folks though at my 200#, the Axis system is one of the only ones I'd trust. The systems that incorporate part of the fuselage with the front wing also look pretty strong (F-One, Lyft) Never had any issues using Go Foil or Gong though I see that square mount as at least more flexible.

Big guys on one meter+ wing spans need to consider these things.

Yes, one of the downsides of the Axis system, the Fuselages are prohibitively expensive. I would be very interested in having a second longer fuselage besides my ultra short for better leverage pumping but just can't seem to make myself pull the trigger there (along with a 910 / 460 combo ). I've never seen any actual test comparing stiffness of the various systems but then, how much stiffness is actually required becomes the next question.

I've a first gen regular length in the shed I don't use... Was getting around to selling it.

Really, I'm just too lazy to change my gear around that much I have a second wind too, just never get around to swapping it up!

Exactly, I really don't want to deal with that while I'm scrambling to get on the water. Already have to decide between 3.6 and 5.3, complicated enough... The 1010/390/Ultra short combo has been just fine from 12-50+

Axis all the way for stiffness,I’ve ridden many foils kite,supfoil and winging and Axis mast to fuse and wing connection is a tough one to beat,been a longtime CF foil rider and never thought I’d go back to a aluminum set up but the Axis 19mm is About as stiff as they get minimal flex even for a big guy like myself at 225lb riding gigantor wings like the 1150 or 1050.really like the Axis for winging and for supfoiling too quite good as well,I have not tried it kitefoiling yet.If your a large rider way to go winging,and Axis has so many wing options no one has that many wing options that Im aware of too many options!
