I am not surprised that reviews from the Facebook cloud forum might favor the clouds.

Just as reviews from a slingshot forum might favor the ufo.

It is possible that the ufo will help board riding Maui in the long run by bringing more people into the strutless world.

UFO 7m is 3.65 Pound or 1.66 KG. Maybe some one weighted 9 m and 5 m UFO? please share the data.

I had the 5 out with HF yesterday in gusts to 30 knots. I would have enjoyed a smaller kite but the wind was building and I was already out. It was remarkably well behaved with luffing only in the extreme of depower.

I had a sweet afternoon foiling with the 7m yesterday. Wind stats at the spot said 10 to 12 knots, gusting 13 to 14. I was using a Shinn Jackson Sunburner 128cm with K2 Carbon foil. I weigh 65 kilos. The UFO is a great kite for foiling. It stays in the sky in the lightest of breezes and has lift at the zenith to help with foot changes. It just wants to fly...note to self, ensure to weight it down sufficiently whilst sat on the beach. I had to do a 100m sprint to catch it on my lunch break!

Any estimates for the wind range of the 3m? Is the 15-42 knot range provided by Slingshot about right?

I flew the 3 m in 15 knots not really practical you have to keep it moving. Really keep it moving 20 knots is more practical. I really would like a 4 m

On what wing? Average weight?
Perhaps a bigger wing could make 15 knots work?

I’d say a 3m UFO is a lightweight rider gear primarily. At 200+ lbs I took it out when I was quite overpowered on 5m. Yet a 4m would have felt more appropriate and I think the 3-5 gap is too large. 4m Ghost feels rather as 5m SST so I got a 4m SST as my smallest. Need a 4m UFO
