the uk goverment have no interest either, and avoid it like the plague, and more daughting news about the artic dissapearing much quicker than thought with footage of big chunks drifting off turning slushy as it go's, saying it could be gone in 15 years , the main problem here is the ice reflects the sun rays back up but the ocean absorbs it heating up the ocean even more , taking the home from the polar bears -sending polar bears into extinction within a few year

So, Simon isn't going to be able to understand this as he is an extremist, though he will deny it. But he is doing very good at pretending that AGW believers are only good, and anyone opposed AGW belief, or even those who question the AGW narrative, are all bad.

This is the definition of cognitive dissonance. If you ignore deaths, if you cover up the cause of deaths, or if you simply misrepresent the data you have collected to the rest of the world as China has, then it absolutely does matter how you measure it!

And this is spoken like many a leader who sought to gain power by eliminating opposition. The global Elite, have much to gain from implementing policy based on a narrative which cannot be questioned without risking one's income, freedom, or life.

And as we have seen in the past, most environmental initiatives result in more environmental destruction than they have solved.

I know he often says 'fake news' and 'hoax' to journo's when climate change is brought up but has he ever said outright that agw doesn't exist/is false? ...or is he just a bit more like some of the skeptics in this thread that believe it's happening but just being over exaggerated? I'm inclined to believe the later is more likely and that he's just getting painted as a flat out denier by the media... only guessing.

well if you refuse to see it then that is your problem not mine , its the evidence and scientists reports that we should take notice of
and what you refere to as extremists are just sick of the press, the media that refuses to engage on this very serious issue ,they won't even disscuss it ,so more power to the extremists if that what it takes for our survival and the many animals that we will force into extinction in the next few years
