SS Time code 68/ Rideengine Arc 68 ride experience

Postby Adek » Tue Sep 22, 2020 3:30 pm

Hello!
Can someone give a pros and cons of this wing for kitefoiling. I am 90 kg. What is this wing's best for? What is difference between SS Time code 57?

I would be very appreciated for any help.
Thanks!

These are scaled up original Hoverglide H5 wings aka TimeCode 57.
Larger area would allow you to get onto foil earlier and go at lower speed while not affecting top speed much.
Originally introduced as H1 wing those were a “not in stock” mirage for first year of their existence so people rather used H2 aka Gamma 68 which is comparable and awesome

Certainly an upgrade to H5/TimeCode57 at your weight

I used one alongside my spaceskate. About the same speed, same low end. More locked in feeling.. breached earlier because of wingspan so would perfer the 91cm mast.. I had the 72cm.

Have you ever thought about Spaceskate or Apollo?
I have a SS Time code 57 and have been riding for 5 months, it's really good this wing, nice top speed and early lift but I got an opportunity and bought recently a Spaceskate. Now this wing is my shine star, it's not fast as time code 57 but you have good speed, it's has a early lift and carve really tight, it's feels like a skate longboard. The most pro about this wing is that is better to ride wave than time code 57.
Another wing that has been gotten good review it's apollo, but I don't have.
