Fool Proof Visuals: The color scheme follows industry standards with red leader lines, red pigtails and red safety loops all on the left. Slingshot logos are positioned so you know you are holding the bar correctly when you can read them.
IMHO ginormous blunder on Slingshot part.

Can you read them at dusk and dawn?
How about some of us that ride in rather muddy waters/places and that white will be black in no time?
What if that white gets scraped off?
And red dots are barely visible. No red leader line on those pictures either.

How expensive or complicated was to make one entire float red?
And I thought the north bar was bad.....
I completely Agree. The left part of a bar should be red ! Not grey, black, yellow, blue.... just Red ! It should be a standard (and written in the NF and ISO document).
Adding to the point of Milko0k, after a failed backroll, a bad downloop or just any false manoeuvre, the rider need to react quickly a pull the good side of the bar to avoid the kite crashing. Having a visible red part on the bar is really helpful.
And for beginner, during lessons, it is also very useful. I'll keep my Sentinel bar a bit longer !

Yeah it’s to bad companies “innovate” just to say they have something new to try to keep up with the rat race. The old compstick bars were amazing and the most durable imo. Why did they have to go and change it 🤦🏼‍♂️
The compstick will still be available , it is bomber built and will always have replacement parts available . The Sentry is for the millennials :D

anyone know if the 2021 bar is still compatible with the talon or small chicken loop from past years?
The mini chicken loop and talon will not work with this bar. The compstick will still be available though.

I was looking for information on the new bar, have you had your hands on it, used it in muddy water?

They weren't exaclty the first themselves. Lacuna and Switch come to mind. Ventum uses it too now. A lot will follow probably.

This is just a new OEM design by Majestic Design, and imo the best OEM bar as of yet. Personally not a fan of autoswivel, but you can't have it all I guess...

I have four sentinal bars and will grab a few more if I see them on sale. I make my own center lines now(red amsteele)and just love how easy they are to maintain.

No I haven't :(
Judging by the pictures.

I'm happy if they keep compstick available just as it is now.
