- Out of the watches that are currently compatible, there are some models that I'm not sure about in water usability. For example Vivoactive 4 has a touch screen and I'm not sure how it will behave in water - I don't have a physical device to test on. You can still install WOO app on them, but your experience might not be ideal, that is why I don't recommend them.
I have first avenger garmin which is vivoactive 4 and it works great the screen just needs to be locked after starting woo session

Thanks for reporting that
. When I get one of these watches I'll try to make locking automatic if possible.

WOO just published the update including the Distance field. You must have GPS setting turned on to get the distance.
The Distance you'll see in the app will be slightly different from the activity created by Garmin (since my calculation algorithm might be slightly different from Garmin's), but it is pretty close. In my last 77km session the difference was about 100m

Just a quick question:
What happens if you dont take your phone with you on a session.
Will the Woo jump height screen still work?
I appreciate the analytics & GPS need the phone, but I’d prefer not to gave to take my phone around my neck & if the jump height screen works & shows height after each jump- that would be good enough for me.
Thanks in advance

Yes, in fact if you connect to your watch you can't connect to phone and vice versa, watch will download to connect, aleks has put a screenshot on this thread showing the recorded metrics, he's done a great job on this..

WOO app on a watch works independently from a phone - you don't need a phone to see live jump data. In fact, as Aberdovy kiter said, it is better NOT to have a phone

With the watch you mean? If so then yes the watch will tell when gps is aquired, obviously you need to turn gps function on in the watch settings.

Not for Android yet.
For Garmin it logs Garmin activity with a track.
