I have 7 Compsticks (purchased on sale over the last couple of years) of different sizes and a bunch of spare parts. Hopefully set with bars for the rest of my kiting life. They work well and are durable. That is all I need in a bar.

Reedin want their bar back...
They weren't exaclty the first themselves. Lacuna and Switch come to mind. Ventum uses it too now. A lot will follow probably.
This is just a new OEM design by Majestic Design, and imo the best OEM bar as of yet. Personally not a fan of autoswivel, but you can't have it all I guess...
Not a fan of autoswivel....Why?
Never wan’t a bar without autoswivel anymore.
Because the centerhole sits too tight around the powerlines when steering, making sheeting while steering difficult, especially one handed (when you try to save the kite from crashing for instance)
It sucks for unhooking too, the weight from the leash pulls the CL in the wrong orientation for easy rehooking.
The one benefit doesn't outweight the negatives for me personally.

IMHO ginormous blunder on Slingshot part.
Can you read them at dusk and dawn?
How about some of us that ride in rather muddy waters/places and that white will be black in no time?
What if that white gets scraped off?
And red dots are barely visible. No red leader line on those pictures either.
How expensive or complicated was to make one entire float red?
And I thought the north bar was bad.....
I completely Agree. The left part of a bar should be red ! Not grey, black, yellow, blue.... just Red ! It should be a standard (and written in the NF and ISO document).
Adding to the point of Milko0k, after a failed backroll, a bad downloop or just any false manoeuvre, the rider need to react quickly a pull the good side of the bar to avoid the kite crashing. Having a visible red part on the bar is really helpful.
And for beginner, during lessons, it is also very useful. I'll keep my Sentinel bar a bit longer !
Fully agree that shall be mandatory in all bars.

I'm going to hold my full judgment till I get a chance to try them out. I however think I'll be stocking up on comp sticks as they go on sale.

Well, it definitely looks better and more visible than on promo pictures but still IMHO if entire left float was red it would have been bulletproof move on Slingshot part.
Another misleading thing is this V1 attribute. Really, company that has been making bars since 1999 just made V1 bar

Wow, There is a lot of info and complaints about the
Sentry V1 Control Bar in here despite a big lack of information and first hand knowledge.

From what I’ve seen the new bar is going to be a great catch up to modern bars from 2012/2016 design of Guardian/Sentinel

Can anyone think of an easy way to add 10” of throw to a bar like this? I assume the pvc coated centers have loops on the ends which connect to small pins inside the barrel of the chicken loop. Perhaps two x 10” of slightly smaller diameter spectra line with a loop on each end. I don’t care about it not being coated, and adding the same length to steering lines? I need lots of throw for foiling.

No, they should be staying this price until they are all gone.
