Looks like you´re gonna be the exclusive supplier of your home spot now :-)

Do you already know how much 0° fibre you´re gonna use? I´m thinking about building something quite similar thick. 200g/sqare meter or so?

I put rocker in 20mm corecell just with the vacuum as well. Simple and reliable boards.

Tom these look cool!
Do they spring back from the rocker? What rocker are you using?
I made last year a 140ish board of a sheet of 20mm corecell, had to use heat to form it to about 13cm rocker but got no springback.
Used a “sauna” technique: pouring hot water onto towels on top of blank in rocker table. Best to do outdoors but worked well and no springback (&in theory no residual stress).
2mm spring back. Rocker form of my own Design. Some people want 50cm rocker others more like 80mm. I can adjust.

interesting. If i built a rocker form and formed 25mm corecell against the bottom and laminated uni d cf on the deck at the same time, i might get away with that. I want to shape the bottom a bit. Might try that in the future.
But heading towards all wood builds in the future.

I laminated the deck last night. Its damn stiff. 1,8 kg. Probably end up 2,2 kg.
Unfortunately due working too long and shop at 22c my resin kicked before I got the vbag up and had insufficient wicking to the absorber and had some resin pooling. Have a little fix to do on it. Also used a different perf film that had fewer holes...lesson learned.

Looking really good! I had the same materials in mind but wasn't sure, untill I found this topic.
How many layers of CF are you using?
Do you have any experience with the black stuff carbon fiber from easycomposites? https://www.easycomposites.co.uk/200g-b ... ibre-cloth
I was thinking to use the cheaper CF for strenght and cover it with a blue CF https://www.easycomposites.co.uk/200g-b ... ibre-cloth
Not sure if this will work, recently build my first pocket board, super excited to build the next one!

I'm using black stuff from easy composites. A good material to start with. I buy the 10m roles.
My laminate schedule is to use 4 layers of 250g uni d 170-120 mm wide staggered lenghts each side. Longest widest layer first. Easy composites has this in 1m wide, just slice it with a razor in required widths.
On bottom I use 1 layer 200g rail wrapped. On deck one layer rail wrapped, with 2nd layer deck patch.
On the 75kg foam, 20mm thick(2x10mm) this layup is super stiff. It won't flex at all.
You can Bigheads for mast fixing on EC too.
They have everything you need.
Check out my FB group TWsurfboards to see lots of photos.
I've been thinking about creating a guide book, and publishing on Amazon e-books, but don't have time this year.
