You need a Sonic 3
yes but what if you want a kite for both low/medium/stable winds and high/gusty winds?
I agree on fernmanus points,
especially slightly higher AR with the same superb stability of soul 1
And I could also imagine this new simplified bridle they released for the sonic race kites.
The simplified bridle isn't going to happen because you would then need the fiberglass battons which is too much maintenance. Depending on the size, the AR does change so I don't see them changing that much. Personally if you want higher AR, then go with the Sonic 3 as others have said.
What I want:
The water drainage system out of the Sonic 3 (likely to happen)
Stronger, lighter fabric (always wanted)
Thinner profile for more performance (possible)
More sizes and something smaller than a 6m (most likely possible)
Even better drift and turning speed
Better color scheme!!
Remember this kite was marketed as a transition from LEI and more of a beginners kite so I don't see that much of a performance boost unless they can keep the same handling. I bet we won't see the next gen though till Winter 2021/Summer 2022. I say this due to the Rona, the fact they added more sizes and using the Sonic 3 as reference. The kite market is under a financial crunch and I can see FS holding off on their update since it still sells so well.
