Liquid force spacecraft

Looking at getting one of these or a cabrinha tronic. Anyone got feedback on the spacecraft. Looking for a twin tip for wave riding but still fun to jump with. Thx

Don’t know if you can still get the Spacecraft. If you can afford one I can recommend a Nomad Wave twintip. Or so I’m told the new version of the OR Mako has finally got lighter and has some flex, so might be an option.

Thx there's a shop selling new spacecraft for $120 as clearance so good price. Just trying to decide of it will ride ok as a normal tt as well

You could hardly go wrong at that price. I wonder how much advantage there is as the shape isn’t far off a standard TT. Read some fairly positive reviews on them in the past. Plummet I believe uses a not dissimilar but home crafted mutant TT.

I currently have a Liquid Force Moon patrol 146 cm (slightly different model, but from the same line of boards) from 2018. I like it a lot for playing in messy, choppy wave conditions. Also had an Ocean Rodeo Mako 2016 in 140 cm, but I preferred the Liquid Force to be honest. I sold the Mako as soon I couldn't hold my edge once in overpowered, fast riding conditions. That price is really good. Please tell where it is for sale, haha

This is another advantage of the Nomad Wave boards, in that they hold an edge in exactly that same way as a normal twin tip, compared to the single fin Mako which I assume is more tricky in overpowered conditions.

Try more front foot pressure/weight on the Mako. They can handle incredible amounts of power.

My dad has a moon patrol (similar board) that he really likes. I've never riden it, but it looks like a really nice board. I think I recall him saying that it held speed well and did really nice toe-side carving. At $120 it seems like an easy buy.

I also bought the moon patrol for a silly price like that and I love it. Holds monster edge for boosting in waves. Carves nicely for bottom turns. My go to board when I hit the waves. Absolutely go for it.

I got a spacecraft as my first board not long ago for roughly that price. I can just barely ride upwind but both directions feel about the same, only a little easier to ride with the nose forward.

It looks cool and I like it more than the big board they had us on at lessons so I'm pretty happy overall. I dream of popping to toeside and doing a big carve but that's still out of reach for me.
