Major benefit to Lift foil configuration in my opinion is possibility to get a 4’4” carbon board and folding prop.

I am getting interested and wondering what predictions for 2021 .
My skills would indicate an efoil with about 110l volume for flat water and small ocean swells.
Also minimum 1 hours riding battery life.
It would also be desirable to be able to use my current Moses foil wings.
I look forward to your comments.

Bob, Good to hear you are stoked about efoils. What a great toy to bring to OBX for the non-wind days. Just cruise the coastline. I still go back to my thoughts that one must have 2 efoils or a good buddy or partner with one. 2021 Spring will be the dawn IMO. At the new price points more foils will be seen on the water. Sure I'd love a Lift or Fliteboard for piece of mind. But I'm feeling SUPERNOVA. Yes Marc is a teaser but it's born out of passion. He's excited. A crazy analogy, as a musician but it's like me releasing a song before it's fully produced. But you are so excited that you finished it that you put the rough cut up on your Facebook page.
Good to know you are going through withdrawal as I am with too with wakefoiling. If I had an efoil now in Syracuse I'd have 6 more days of 65 degrees, light wind sunny days ahead for cruising an empty lake coastline. No docks, boats just trees and islands to cruise past.

Hi Mark.....I'm 100% with you on having 2 if the budget allows. Most of my customers this year went this route, but it is an investment. Much easier to justify though at $9,995.
OBX was awesome having the E-foil there the last 2 years now.
Regarding Supernova.....I have a past experience that is driving my bias against hyping it without having the product ready. In 1998, my wife and I invested $30k in a company called Powerski.com. Robert Montgomery was the owner. It was the ONLY powered surf board with a small 2 stroke engine and a ton of fun. We did all of our due diligence and even visited the facility in CA and rode the Powerski before investing. I also then went to trade shows with them and the hype and interest was huge. Problem is it was too much hype and they never got the product properly to market. I'm not saying Supernova won't make it to market, but I just like less hype and more product. We lost our entire investment.
The only one I've seen from Mark is the one with boots and not sure how a rider can get up and riding unless they are riding in a circle to generate momentum to get up or sink the board under you to start.
If I can help in any way, let me know. If you already have a dealer or connection, that's cool. I'm not here to take away from someone else who's helping you, but to help fuel the stoke about E-foiling.
Hope this helps.

Bib, what are your favorite wing sets for Lift?
Hi Groguru. Who's Bib? haha.
The 200 wing set is the most popular for the efoil, but I personally like the 170 wing set a little better.
It's quicker turning and a little more responsive.
I tried to get the HA 170 and HA 200 wing sets for the OBX rip, but could not get them in time, so I cannot give an honest opinion yet on those.
My guess is they will have better glide, but less dynamic turning. I really like turning with the E-foils.
Hope this helps.

Do you get 1.5 hours of battery range and 2 hours charging as advertised?

Yes and yes, but I need to qualify.
2 hours to charge = 100%.
1 hour 20 minutes of ride time = yes, but if you are bigger rider and riding full out, you'll get less time. Probably right around an hour, but if you ar riding that hard, an hour will tire you out quickly.
On the flip side, I did a lesson in Iowa with a family and friends and had 9 kids. They rode 1 battery for 3 hours. Crazy how long it lasted.
The kids were all under 100lbs.

How about folding prop? Does it make difference on battery time?
