Incorrect.
Riding cross off you are riding down wind however, the extra speed acceleration you generate from the wave pushing you into the cross off wind will mean you will overfly your kite in seconds if you dont continually send your kite back in the window.
Set it and forget it.. marketing in wave riding with a kite?

On what planet is wave riding with a kite set it and forget it?
In any location with good waves and side-offshore wind, you can park the kite. It works better with wave specific kite than with e.g. a Dice. I wouldn´t call it "forget", but you don´t have to move it anymore.
I spent a lot of time riding in Western Australia, indo and the pacific in these conditions. You cant possibly think that you dont need to move the kite as you ride?!

If I am as a customer buy elite kite and pay elite money for it then I want everything elite, not only kite but a bag too. I don't care if it is made of cycled plastic or recycled from the ocean. I want it if not better but at least like it was till 2021. I don't want a small ugly sack which is impossible to use for kite storage after the 1st deflate.

I also don't like the new bag. A lot smaller than the 2018 bag.

Why are there any zippers at all on kite bags?

I put my 9m kite together with my 12m kite in my 12m kite bag as I go by public transport to my kitespot. Won't be possible with smaller kite bags

I had to replace all zipper of my old North bags. They guy in the shop said they are sewn in inverted, and he can't buy inverted sliders. Hence he inverted the zippers, and put on a normal slider. Next time if something goes wrong, he only has to replace the slider.

Wayyyyy overpriced the brands are pushing me out of the sport unfortunately I cannot afford to kite anymore... special thanks to the brands who are destroying the sport per cash
Yes and No... If your buying new kites at retail then Yes. If you are a beginner n young without huge disposable income (ME) and realize you don't need new kites - and buy 3 used kites and a used control bar n board for well under 2k.. - then No.
My first 5 kites were all used. First 3 control bars were used.
Heck I stopped buying new skis after this realization, can get mounted skis on ebay for 60% and still ride them better than almost anyone on new skis.
How much do skis change year to year?
Is there any difference from the 2017 pair that is still in wrapping never used, to 2020 never used but featured in the magazine?
Pretty much the same with Kites (almost).
Ever heard of eBay??
