Help,
I've been foiling for 4 year, now I'm happy on my pocket board and big wing. I don't have much trouble foot switching in the summer with no booties but now that the cold is here I'm having frustrations. I know, I should be way past this but with my "shuffle" method I'm %100 goofy-to-regular and a disappointing %65 with the regular-to-goofy.
I'd like to completely re-write my brain. Maybe I could practice switches in the kitchen while doing dishes.
Please recommend the best video training for a simple step-step foot switch dry land exercise.
Thank You
PS, Normally I just follow the sun into the Tropics each winter and stay barefoot no booties.... not this year with isolation life.
Hey Purdy
I built a foot switch simulator in my living room, it worked great I will send you some pics. Wife was not impressed
Try wearing socks. Be careful you cant walk around in neoprene socks the soles wear out. Also maybe get a thinner boot. Thick boots are just so difficult to use.

Yes. These problems with foot-switching arrived with colder weather and thick booties.
Absolutely no problem, I just made it using on hand supplies, but I tend to have a lot of strange stuff on hand. I guess I’ll just post a YouTube video so since I’ve gotten quite a few private messages. But you’ll need a small length of a very decent quality rope or I guess even kite string would work, I just have lots of ropes and carabiners, and then the adjustable master lock bungee cords are super nice, you can just get them on Amazon
Just trying to pay it forward, I’ve had a lot of very nice people answer my silly beginner questions about for Foiling ,,, although I am sad that no one has responded to my 11m Krono V3 versus hyperlink v2 thread
Hopefully no one will make fun of my 15 minute invention
