The broken board on the pictures is NOT Raptor Extreme, but Elite - completely different board, the lightest CF makes. Extreme on the other hand is CF's big air "heavy duty" board - sturdier, designed to be optionally ridden with boots, durable bottom sheet, etc. And as @Faxie wrote - every board can break. I don't understand what value those pictures bring to Cheoz0r86's question about differences between Raptor and Raptor Extreme?! He is looking for some real usage comparison between those two models and not asking about the quality&durability of the brand in general.

Ummm,

Not a single supplier will replace a snapped board.

Just like a ripped kite on a tree. Not a single one. Sorry.

Good luck.

PS
And if u guys think that EVERY board can break, well, u must have a foot of steel.
The proper saying is SOME boards will break before your foot, and the opposite.

You know well what we mean. Sounds more like you're butthurt you didn't get warranty after you broke your clearly mistreated board. The 3yr warranty covers broken boards with regular use. I saw your pictures in multiple topics iirc.

I had a problem with an older board that was just out of warranty (no 3yr warranty at the time) and while they didn't replace it (they didn't have to, out of warranty and such), I did get a good deal on a new board. They didn't have to do that at all, but they did anyway.

Well CF regularly do, if covered by their 3 year warranty, which any normal riding damage would be.

But it's clear you have beef with them since you seem to post images of your broken Elite on every Crazyfly board topic that comes by. Given how expensive the elite is, I can see why you would feel the pain... But it's not super helpful when people are asking about a totally different board! And without context pics mean nothing... Did it break while carving? Landing a kiteloop? Hitting a reef? Maybe you ran it over with your Ute after too much Bundy & coke?

OP - I've not tried the normal raptor, but love my extreme, crazy good at holding speed and power, which is what you want for going big. It is a stiff board though so can be hard on the knees if you land hard often, so better for sent jumps than powered wakestyle!

I Had Raptor LTD and broke it ( boosting , kite loops ). , I bought Extreme now .
Thicker , a little heavier but bulletproof. Amazing board ! .

So if you just cruising with easy landing tricks get Raptor LTD. , if you go hard definitely get Extreme

Buuuuuu,

never even OWNED one. Tested it once. Great board, did you see my comments too when I wrote multiple times that it's great?

But I'm the guy who FIXES boards for others. Infact I'm the ONLY one who does that for others in my town.

And got 3 snapped Raptors, of which, 2 I could not fix because snapped in half.

Beef? Have no interest in that. Only sharing my life experience. If that touches you, bad luck. Your problem.

And posted this snapped pic 2 times. Pitty have no pics of other 2.

Here, people complaining for years about Ozone Edge bladder:
viewtopic.php?t=2403122&p=1121076

Guess what? Not only Edges. So, is that valid life experience for u Raptor lovers? Or we should all stfu coz some of u are so touchy?

So there, you are mistaken.

Have a good day and all the best with your board, whatever you choose.

My first Axis Limited, I rode into a breaking wave weird and folded the tip. They replaced it under warranty.

Land the right way -- or rather the wrong way -- and you'll break any board.

And if you've been running into the shallows and hitting stuff like it looks in those photos, you surely weaken the board.

Ha ha,

Thats because you are 90-100kg, so...

The guy broke both ankles landing flat. The board did not break.

Broke me ankle with 59kg. So u landing like I did, imagine the injuries.

Funny after so much experience u really think that any board can break before your foot.

Out.

When my front line "safety" snapped at the peak of a decent jump and I dropped straight down, I "landed" on the board from that height. I didn't break my ankles ... but the board folded at the tip again.

... imagine the injuries if your teeny little ankles had been involved ;)

Point being, there's another example of a company replacing a broken board.
