To be fair I don't see any difference from the previous bar, unless they had minor changes to quick release.

I've not seen the new bars, but it looks like theyve plastic coated the centre line, with improved quality chicken loop, pig tails and the release should be easier to click in. So pretty much most of it is different.
The best thing on these bars is the German lines, they are stiff as hell.

New shape of release handle with a pronounce upper ridge for more positive grip and now rectangular vs oval
New swivel with what looks to utilize (and what it needs) a bearing and it now has a square profile below it similar a Duotone bar
New TPU covered depower line
New Rope CL Loop option for sliding rope spreader bars
You are somewhat correct, the bar section has remained unchanged. Same for the flying lines.
