Click Bar Dilemma

Postby RustyChain » Fri Feb 19, 2021 10:28 pm

Looking or some input on what to do. I have a 2017 Click Bar, I really like it, but it's getting to be time get new lines or a new bar.

Option A: Buy new lines and new bungees about $350
Option B: 2020 Click Bar on sale about $570
Option C: 2021 Click Bar a ton $$ but it has upgraded lines over the 2020

I'd like to have a backup bar for my next kite trip, but that probably won't be for a year unfortunately.

Throw one more option at you:
Option D: Buy an Ocean Rodeo Stick Shift Bar. Version 3.0 is the latest.

Get new lines for sure. If the bar isn't totally shot it's not that hard to replace everything.

I got some lines off of ebay shipped from France for $126.77 about a year ago. Unfortunately the seller isn't on eBay any longer.

Liros Pro.

They are excellent lines.

There are a few sellers on the forum that do line kits. Otherwise send it to kiteboarding.com for any kind of lines you want.

What could you sell the 4 year old worn out bar for? Is it worth $350?

If not, you may have kept it past its useful life. So just do a down grade and convert it to a above the bar cleat system. If that's not a viable option, make into a trainer kite bar. If that turns into a teensy money pit, do this with it:

Coolest dad in the world......galaxy......history of the cosmos... for giving that much of his garage!
