Hi there!
I'm planning to go to Brazil in March - April and I'm curious if this time is good enough for kite boarding.
Let me explain. I’m going to Sao Paulo and at first I didn’t think about kiting, but now I’m thinking of taking my gear with me. I started kite boarding 8 months ago so I’m not such an expert but not a novice.
So I have few questions:
1) Where are good winds in Brazil in March – April?
2) Which spot/location would you recommend?
3) What are average rental prices for kite gear in Brazil?
4) If I take my stuff with me is there any storage companies/services in Brazil where I can leave my gear for storage for some time while I’m not riding?
Thanks in advance for tips.

How is that impacting the wind and rental prices?
I don't know that area much unfortunately. Maybe you can find some wind in Florianopolis?
Not exactly just around the corner though - and I believe it would be outside of the season down there.

Ola, amigos!
Telling you about Brazil in March - April. I was in Buzios. There people kite on Praia do Rasa. However, I was able to kite only once. Usually, the wind is weak this time.
Now I'm in Floripa. And here is pretty good wind. I rode 2 days in a row in Lagoa da Conceição. Yesterday wind was good, today was gusty. Also people kite on Campeche beach where south crossshore wind blows with some waves.
Overall I can say that if you want to kite it is possible even when it is not a peak season in Brazil.

Thx for the update!
Half March was pretty good in Cumbuco.
Then winds only light, but several days around 15 knots, so ok for hydrofoil.
Then beginning of April we had an amazing week with 7 straight days of 20-25 knots, even gusting up to 32 knots!
Last Sunday again 20-25 knots...
