What does SLC stand for?
In the USA it stands for "Salt Lake City" which is certainly not what they mean but it's what Americans will think of.

SLC = SiLenCe... = stop the criticism
The videos look good, and when seeing the kiteloops they pull, seems like the foil can take a beating!
Would love to compare against my high-end carbon Ketos set-up.

...I am not sure that most people would buy on the claim that alu mast is better than carbon..
It mostly exists as a budget option.. but CORE is asking premium for it..
I was always puzzled what exactly qualifies Core as premium brand. Their bar looks like something from the early kitesurfing days: hard edges, floats. And now, behind virtually every other kitesurfing vendor, they offer aluminum foil.

...Any marketing that mentions “feather light” should publish figures. Especially when stating their mast is light as carbon.
Publishing weight of both foil and board goes a long way in establishing value. Especially when it’s a new entry in the market. Need more than good looks. I mean it’s not like they don’t know it. They chose to publish board volume to half a litre...
Core claimed “featherlight” from their foiling kite previously. When weighed it translated to “heavier than competition”.
Since they’re on path of false advertising they just should keep lying and claim lighter than actually is with small print disclaimer “if weighed on the moon”

High cost “I’m rich, b!tch” showmanship, dealers not allowed to sell under MSRP (but of course they do in person)

Just ask Google. Note: Google highlighted the meaning, I didn’t

Not sure what magic aluminium it’s made of but with pricing pretty much similar to a full carbon Moses setup I would be very hesitant to buy this over the proven track record of Moses.
Exactly. Looks like a aluminium foil with a carbon price tag. The labels on it saying "Core" increases the price by at least 40 %.
PS "Moses" is gone. It´s called Sabfoil now.

We've got a similar thing here in the midwest USA. The tractors with red paint are fairly affordable. The tractors with green paint are expensive. (John Deer uses green paint)

Do not make any assumptions based on the marketing video...
there is famous slingshot clip with Adam jumping 50footers on the SS hypermiler with ghost whisper.
well that board would definitely crack under front foot or break a rail once you land a few bad ones..
same observation for Nobile Zen - they show jumps in the clips but in reality it would break inserts on a relatively small boost hitting nothing but water..
Ask me how I know about both?
In general, you want to get dedicated gear for jumping (fortified board/rails, solid carbon wings, etc)

That is because of “carbon’s anisotropic properties”. At Core price range they could treated the riders and make the board aluminum too, but not all cool stuff at once, I guess. Let’s wait for Core crowd show off with their isotropic aluminum masts for now.
