I don´t work for Gongs Competitors. I am self employed. I run a Surfshop and my Youtube Channel and do freelance Board design.
Sorry, I thought you worked for Indiana.

Guys, anyone tried the new 2021 Reach? What changed compared to 2020? Thanks.
There was no 2020 model it was launched half way through the season I believe

The 2020 Reach launched March 2020
The new 2021 Reach went live on the North site March 3rd 2021. USA shipments started this week. I don't know anyone in the USA that has ridden a 2021 Reach yet, however I'd think you'll start to see some first reflections next week. I think European shipments might be slightly ahead of USA so maybe some earlier reviews could be coming.
For changes on the new Reach there are some minor reductions in weight through some material changes and the use of the new bridles that were released with the second generation Orbit and Carve. Admittedly I've drank all the North Koolaid, so having said that I'll say on a personal level is the best all-around high performance kite I've ever ridden and I'm excited to hear this kite hasn't had too much done to it. It's epic for surf, foil and TT riding. I'll add some reviews here as I find them.

Second. This is exactly what I was talking about brand exposure, awareness (few pages ago). No other brand is so responsive in this forum. This is a great example for others, how to communicate with this "geek'ish audience" on a global forum.
This makes me even more excited to be your new customer. Thanks Mattaiken!

I've not use my 5m Reach just yet (not even pumped it up so I would know if it looked different to the one on the website). It's a 2020 it seems and yellow
but sadly have been covid locked down everytime we have had strong wind. At least my 9m Orbit is 100% at 2021 kite. Hopefully some hangtime coming soon

Hi, if you've had it more than 2 weeks it's definitely the 2020 model (or first generation). The website is all 2021 kites.
