Your lines snap at 30-40 ft with a foil strapped on your feet ?
How deep does the water need to be to land without hitting bottom if you land feet first with a race foil?
Should you land on your feet or on your butt ??

I used to do that when a foot slips out of the strap accidentally while jumping.
One time after kicking off the board I landed in between the foil and the board with the board on it’s side. Could have decapitated me with the wing tip !!!

these thoughts have also gone through my mind,,, the foil on its side with the sharp wings pointing up is a very scary thought
kicking off a twin tip was fairly easy,, i have never kicked off a foil yet. doubt if it would go as well but it's something to try
