Would be interesting to see the same test in 7.5 to 9.0 mph measured the same way performed in the months of July or August instead of March

Hot wind over warm water will not have the extra density power and some of the gradient seen here

Funny that in the dead of summer heat none of those how low can you go videos ever pop up

The magic wind is gone

The 9 stays in the bag and takes a nap

Although not really fake news like on CNN  because it is true about a 9 ...it will do fine for a few months a year

Interesting point in regards wind density in the summer months.

I ride my 9m drifter down to pretty low winds. I find the board to make a big difference too.

Interesting indeed

Types of light wind power...that looks/ measures /feels like 7.0 to 9.5 mph on beach....but once on the water a whole different story

Magical...9m pulls like a 12 or 13m.... the most fun and surreal sessions
Regular...9m pulls like a 9m
Sucker...9m pulls like a 7 or 6m

Water temperature in Dania Beach, FL back to March 16 is conservatively averaging 77/25 degrees. In Summer, it would be 85/29 for highest average temp.
