After 15 uses and many jumps I can say that slingshot celero 2019 is a true resistant board, there are no signs of any damage
Thanks guys

Sadly, SBs just dont last if really jumped (i.e. regularly 15m+), aside from inevitable heel dents, the fin boxes develop stress cracks &/or eventually the board just fails.
I have a mint 4’10 Naish Pro Naish mutant (from 2003) and never use it, but get custom mutants based on the same outline & rocker - small mutants are great for boosting, as you can hold a lot of power with the fins/rocker & just about ok for waveriding.

As I have described in the past, I have a custom SB built in 2008. It's 4'10", quite flat rockered, planes early, is very fast, & great in chop & smaller surf. It also jumps great & has inserts for 3 straps. It's also strongly built & relatively heavy. I would describe it as half way between a small (ca. 2003) directional & a proper modern kite surf board. A fantastic board for the kind of waves most people encounter most of the time. After 12 years of use & travel it is still absolutely solid - no heel dents, no cracks. Small & (relatively) heavy is the key.

Small SBs are nice - I have 4'10 Quad Peter Trow by Stretch customs that has a flat (tow-in) rocker - & although it has very heavy construction, it is just not as tough as the mutants (which are either full carbon or double thickness TT construction) & for me it does not boost as well - fine for 12-15m, but not as controllable as the mutants in edging for higher boosts.

My old Naish Global Wave 5.7 still holds up fine, no wear of jumping.
It has crashed my knee last year when I screwed up a "landing".. (read dropped down from height) nothing happend to the board.. still recovering the knee..

Agree - Globals are great - I have the old white/bamboo 5'5 - but I am very wary about jumping it, particularly after creasing my lovely Naish Gun !!!!
