Better floaters.. Aren't they not there just protect your mate when you beat him up with the bar?..
What else are they for?
I have never understood the one hand assembly. You release to let it go because you need get rid if it.
When do you release, and want to reconnect again. Even with one hand?
The PU tube is a good step forward!

The snaplock sounds like a great improvement. I had an unfortunate experience with the Torque bar a number of years back when I inadvertently triggered the quick release out in heavy surf (on suicide). It was a struggle to keep the kite flying while holding the release slider open to re-engage the chicken loop, holding my breath between set waves all at the same time
Agreed, you wouldn’t need to do this in the water much but at least it’s less hassle. The slider option for Naish is also a welcome addition.

I was told by a dealer the Boxer will be around in June... I really hope they bring back a BTB trim option...Not sure why ATB is so popular? Not a fan of having to stretch to reach the trim line... contemplating rebuilding one of my old BTB Naish Bars - but everything looks shot/ stretched/ worn...

You can move the cleat down to reduce the bar throw.

They have now. The Torque 2 is only available as ATB.
What I don't get is the leash attachment. I think it's super to have it near the chickenloop, so you can run suicide until you release, and then it's "normal" with one front line flag out.
PS. How do you rear line flag out with the current Torque bar? Is rear line flag out just not a thing anymore?

Exactly. I believe the only bar where you could do a rear line flag out was the previous Slingshot bar. Everybody is on front line safety.

Do you know that the Torque 2 is only ATB? Personally, I could never quite decide which I like better. I use the trim very seldom tho, so that is probably why I don't care much.
It looks to me like the leash attachment is close to the CL...hmmm, that might just be what you were saying. I do remember the old SS bars, and attaching a leash to the backline was the biggest PITA ever since doing any kind of loops or rotations would lead to the leash being jammed around the CL. I think you can probably make your own backline flag out fairly easily by using the SS setup with two rings and a tag to pull.
