So I received my 2021 9m Orbit and it's awesome ! Tested in 17-18kts with 20-22kts gusts.

Faster turning (but I was riding a 10m in 2020) and insane loop recovery. It's really easy to pull KL as you are really confident with this kite.

Cool. I'm leaning hard in the direction of Orbit 2021 myself.

I'm assuming you are quite light weight then? Would have to be one of my main decisions going for an 8 or 9 as the smallest kite. I'm around 100kg so would definitely not be on a 9m in 17-18 knots (either 12 or 14).

I would say 78kg but 80-85 fully equiped. This year I chose a 9m to improve my KL ... but the 10m makes me go higher for sure.

There's a video somewhere on KF of a middleweight (~70kg I'd guess) doing some light airstyle in 15kn on a 14m. A couple guys bigger guys (~95-100kg) around here mow the lawn in 15kn. Standard sized boards for their respective weights.

Very happy with it. My personal setup ist 12m Reach, 9&7 Orbit 2021. My wife is riding the 10m Reach as well and is very happ, because she can ride the 10m from 12-18 knots gusting higher.
If you have LW conditions as well, the 12m Reach is really good. I have seen the 13m Reach performs really good too. But then you need to jump to the 10m Orbit.
I had an awesome session today on the 9m Orbit 2021. Hangtime seems to be better, but the Orbit 2021 is a little more playful and direct than the 2020.
Nice, really similar quiver as we decided to go. Just pulled the trigger on 13-11 Reach and 10-8-6 Orbits. I'm 70kg and my wife 50kg. Reaches for unhooks, light days and Orbits when the fun begins ;)

Nice setup. Need to try the 13m someday. At our local thermical spots in Switzerland many are riding the 13m Reach oder 14m Orbit in lightwind Twintip conditions.

For me the 12m is fine as biggest kite, because unter 10/11 knots I am using my foil setup.

Hey! I'm curious about the wind range (on the upper end) of the orbit 2021. I have 9m and 11m enduro v3s. I'm looking for a fun big air kite that I could still loop (unpowered for now).
I find 7ms generally quite fast and unstable so ideally would like an 8m, but being 63kg I'm unsure if I could handle an 8m up to ~32 knots. The 9m enduro takes me up to about 25-26kn. Would you suggest a 7m or 8m orbit for the upper range?

The top end is where the Orbit shines. If you're overpowered on a 9m Enduro at 26kn, you'll probably be okay on the 8m Orbit @32kn, but it will be approaching your limit at probably @35kn.
