Boxer, Triad and Dash
Meet our new additions to our kite lineup - the Boxer, Triad, and Dash. The Boxer is the lightest, most responsive kite in our lineup and made to excel in light wind, waves, and on the foil. The Triad is our all-around freeride machine offering smooth and predictable jumps and forgiving steering. The Dash is for fast, aggressive riders and anyone who loves to push the limits. The Boxer, Dash, and Triad join the Torch, Pivot, and Slash for a complete kite lineup where every rider can find their perfect match.
The compact Hover Kite boards take full advantage of a minimalist design. These boards deliver superior control in tight turns for a dynamic and responsive riding experience. Another new addition is the Hover Kite Crossover — whether kite foiling, kite surfing, wake foiling, or wake surfing, this board lets riders do it all with ease.
I cannot see any changes to the Boxer (except colours) compared to prev. year?
I have the Boxer 2019/2020 (now two versions old). Only difference to prev. version is the inflate system. Great kite. I can recommend for foiling, direction (My smallest is 8m2 though) and low-end/low wind.
Yeah, it looks like either the new designer is getting a loooong settle in period or that they are happy with their present line. It seems that they are moving away from marketing gimmicks like shark teeth focusing on fine tuning and making them lighter. As I understood it it's not only colour changes but also reducing panels to make them lighter and stronger.
I don't mind them not touching the kite itself. If they can make it lighter, OK great. But no need to tweak things just to tweak. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I think the kite shapes are really mature. In general and those of Naish. Noticable changes will probably only come with the introduction of different materials.
I am super happy with my Pivots and Boxers. The kites´ capabilities are larger than mine.
If they were able to make the Boxer even a bit lighter that´s great. However I will stay with my 20/21 versions as they are in good shape and be in the market the next time round.
The new designs look nice. If the next Pivot comes in the same teal/blue combo like the Boxer (which I think it does from images in another thread) I am happy. I will need a new 11m (and a 6) when it comes out.
