Does anyone know if the allen key supplied with this part is unique (not able to be substituted with any regular allen key)?
Does the allen key come with the bar as standard tool?

The allen key comes either with the bar or with the chicken loop. I think it's the same size as one of the surfboard fin allen keys. And it should be standard, but I assume it's not metric.

It is a 3/32 inch hex key, so 2,38125mm. Very close to the 2.5mm that M3 bolts use.
The 3/32 inch hex key fits both imperial and metric (although a bit loose in a 2.5mm hex bolt) but a 2.5mm hex key won't fit the duotone bolts. I was confused about this also at first because the differences are so small.

As mentioned, a surf fin key should fit and work fine.
