elastic front line? replace complete set?

Hello all,

as I came back from a session yesterday in 15-18knts wind and cleaned my gear I noticed an issue on my front/safety line.
while on the water I already saw a difference in my line, as like it was "crumpled".
someone tangled in my lines and I was forced to use all safety, the bar and lines really tangled up and I safely reconnected them to be sure all was straight.
afterwards it seemed difficult to relaunch on the water as the kite rolled over and normally it flies up very easy (triad 11m)
once home a closer look showed me that the safety line is now "stretching for about +/- 8cm?
this worries me as it is only third time I use the bar, it has no swivel.
it doesnt seem normal to me.
as i can see that part of the line is not in 1 piece to the bridle, could only this part be replaced?
or the complete front line set needs to be?

Steering line?

The flagout line needs to be elastic, otherwise it will become slack when you trim the depower cord which will be annoying.It needs to extend below the quick release when at full power, otherwise your power lines will be uneven.

Those bungee lines are a wear-item on the bar and should be changed from time to time. When neglected they tend to break when you hit the main QR, completely disconnecting you from the kite. Making riding with a worn out flagout line the same as riding without leash. Those Naish flagout lines are on the weak side and should be changed more often unless you don't mind becoming disconnected from the kite.

Indeed front lines and not steering lines. (sorry!)
ok so elastic they need to be but this looks more like "damaged", I only used this bar 3 times?
yes I am at beginning stages and had to QRa few times...
so "this part" can be changed without changing both front lines?

From the look of it (it's the safety bungee line below the splitter) for piece of mind, you have to change it at some point. It shouldn't affect how the kite flies or relaunch as front lines are connected to the metal part above depower line. Just do a check of your bar set up in order to get to know how it functions.
However, I recommend to check your lines lengths (front and steering ones must be equal at full power) in order to see if there's something happened due to the incident you describe you've had
